290 Saugatuck Ave - 3rd Alarm (Westport CT) 9/16/17

Westport firefighters responded to 290 Saugatuck Ave for a working fire in a 1.5 story ranch. Engine 4 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing on the 2nd floor, B side. As the fire progressed, EVAC tones sounded and companies went to exterior operations with a ladder pipe from Norwalk Truck 2. Soon, companies went back in and again there was a second EVAC tones as heavy fire ripped through the attic. Mutual aid was provided to the scene by Norwalk, Fairfield, Stamford, Weston, and Wilton for station coverage.
