223 Lancaster Way (Cheshire CT) - 8/8/19

At around 11:30, Cheshire firefighters were called to 223 Lancaster Way for a reported structure fire. Car 2 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the C side of a 1 1/2 story ranch style dwelling. The roof quickly collapsed and started self ventilating. Engine 3 arrived on scene and stretched 2 lines on opposite sides of the structure. Within 5 minutes the bulk of the fire was knocked down and crews continued chasing pockets of fire. No injuries were reported.
